FIRE SAFETY TRAINING COURSES

All our courses are designed to help you comply with the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which came into force on 1 October 2006. Courses are best delivered on your premises as the training should be tailored to the particular features of your premises and based on the findings of your fire risk assessment.

Full Day Fire Awareness Training: Suitable for fire wardens or staff with responsibility for fire safety procedures in their place of work. It covers all the topics required by the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. More information

Half Day Fire Awareness Training: This course covers all the basic topics to give staff the knowledge required by law to safeguard him/herself and other relevant persons on the premises. More information

One Hour Basic Fire Extinguisher Training: The emphasis of this course is on practical training on how to use fire extinguishers and other equipment. Each delegate will have the opportunity to practice using an extinguisher on controlled fires.The course also includes an explanation of the nature of fire, and how to use fire fighting equipment. Introduction to Fire Risk Assessment: The new Fire Order that came into force on 1st October 2006 requires that you carry out a fire risk assessment on your premises. Although a guide is available to help you, for the untrained person, it can be very difficult to identify fire hazards, evaluate the risks correctly and create a suitable and sufficient Emergency Plan for their Fire Risk Assessment.
