 Wet Chemical `F` Class Extinguisher
Fire Rating 21A-144B - 75F. F Class
uses a potassium carbonate/potassium acetate wet chemical, applied through
a fine mist spray nozzle. The chemical is designed to react with the surface
of the oil/fat to form a soapy-type film which cools and smothers the fire.
This unit is far more effective than the traditional powders, (which do
not cool) and foam which can cause a "boil
over" effect. This unit has passed the UL (USA) electrical conductivity
test (100,000v) and is UL/FM, BSEN and BSEN7937 Approved.`F` class extinguisher
