Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)EFAW training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. The course lasts one day and covers the essential of first aid through a variety of theoretical input and practical demonstrations. Course pre- requisite: For a first aider holding a current valid Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, this course must be undertaken before the expiry date of the Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate. When the retraining is done within three months prior to certificate expiry, the new certificate will take effect from that date of expiry. Where retraining has not been undertaken before certificate expiry, it should be completed no more than 28 days beyond the expiry date. Syllabus Outline The course includes:
